The Foundation is a unique, one of a kind organization comprised of volunteers who hold full-time employment with companies in the beverage alcohol industry. The volunteers manage several fundraising events, including the Spring Christermon Golf Classic, the Summer Golf Cup Challenge, the Northern California Golf Tournament, Fall Festival of Wine & Food, and two scholarship awards dinners - one in the North and one in the South. Revenues generated provide funding for the scholarship program and charitable groups such as The City of Hope, the Arthritis Foundation, Special Olympics, Multiple Sclerosis Society, the American Cancer Society, and many others.
The Christermon Foundation is not affiliated with any religious organization. |
|
The Foundation's primary goal is to execute the Beverage Industry Scholarship Program as an exciting example of public-partnership
in education. This scholarship fund provides qualified students with up to a $5,000 one-year scholarship to be used toward tuition
and room/board at any accredited four-year college or university in the United States. |
